F2BF Food + Fitness This Week

Morning!

I have a fantastic week of workouts ahead. I think planning my workouts for the week is one of my favorite lists to create. I get excited about incorporating new classes and creating new circuits for myself. Last night at Renegade, we did a ‘Ladder’ workout at the end of class, meaning we had three exercises that we needed to complete 10 times, then 9, then 8, etc. all the way until 1 (or until the 5 minutes were up).

Since so many people are stuck inside, due to the cold weather, (it was -10 here this morning) I thought I’d create a similar one for you, using only body weight exercises, that you can do at home!

blog11After going through the ladder 10 times, I bet you’ll work up a great sweat and feel like jello! I plan on doing this workout on Saturday morning. 🙂 Don’t forget to PIN it so you can refer back to it in the future.

Here’s how the rest of the week looks:

Monday – Turbo Stretch/Turbo Abs + Renegade
Tuesday – Lower Body Lift
Wednesday – FitZone
Thursday – Turbo Abs/Renegade
Friday – Upper Body Lift
Saturday – Body Weight Circuit
Sunday – A day of glorious rest!

Since I’ve worked out the last eight days and will continue until the weekend, I’m ok if I choose sleeping in over the circuit on Saturday. I know my body needs the rest as much as it needs the sweat sessions!

FOOD

I don’t have any exciting plans for food this week like the yummy recipes I made last week. I’m such a creature of habit and tend to stick with what works for me, but here’s what I’m thinking.

Breakfast :: eggs/spinach/hot sauce/sometimes with fruit and coffee OR Shakeology

Lunch :: Salads – this week it’s spring mix, cucumber, black beans, avocado, goat cheese, and chicken with ACV and balsamic

Dinners :: turkey breast with brown rice and roasted broccoli, fajita bowl with leftover turkey, brown rice, green pepper, onion, greek yogurt, black bean and corn salsa over a bed of lettuce, and eggs with Morningstar Sausage.

Easy does it!

A few blog updates: 

– I have added a Pinterest button at the bottom of posts to make it easy to pin! It’ll be even easier once I make the switch to self host. 🙂
– I have been chosen to be a POPSUGAR Select Fitness Blogger – see the new badge?! They contacted me about two weeks ago and I’m very excited to begin working with them!
– Just a reminder that the blog will be down for a bit once I begin the switch to self host – I appreciate your patience, as I’m going to be overwhelmed with the new layout of things!

I see a lot of fun stuff in store for F2BF in the coming year. To all my old and new readers, thank you for taking time to read my ramblings, I hope you’ll keep coming back and don’t be shy, I love reading your comments!

  1. I think my body is craving a rest day at this point. More like yelling at me about wanting one, ha. Come on honeymoon!

      I’m not to that point, yet, but I anticipate come Friday, my body will feel the same way! YES – lot’s of time to relax on the honeymoon – so jealous!

  4. I love ladder workouts and the one you posted looks awesome! Good luck with switching over to self host. I thought it was such a pain, but I’m so glad I did it!
