Restart with the Reset!

What a better way to start the new year than with a 21 day full body cleanse?!

Back in 2012 when I did the Ultimate Reset I had great results and felt so incredible. Doing it with my sister and boss will make the experience even more enjoyable, so that we have accountability and can whine to each other if and when needed!

Will I miss coffee, carbs and wine?! Yep. You know it! But what I’m going to gain (or better yet, lose!) from it will be even greater!

I plan to write a couple times a week about the journey, my progress, and how I’m feeling.  There are 3 phases; week 1 – Reclaim, week 2 – Release and week 3 – Restore, each one priming, strengthening and balancing your body on the cellular level.

Over the weekend I did part 1 of my grocery shop, which was for the pantry items. This Saturday I will be shopping for all the produce items and Sunday, it all begins!

Here is what I bought at Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods:

resetLast time I did the reset, I was introduced to many foods I had never tried and continue to include them in my daily eats. Foods like quinoa, tempeh, lentils, and seaweed were all new to me, but now I totally love them, so this won’t be torture at all when it comes to meals.

Making The Year Mine

Hello, Loves!

I’m so ready for a brand new year. It means a clean slate and fresh start and I’m more than ready for all that. It was a rough end to 2014, so the opportunity to start over is wonderful.

From January 11 to January 31 I’m participating in the Ultimate Reset with my sister, Ashley, and my boss, Cali. Seeing as I thoroughly enjoyed the holidays in Austin (and by thoroughly I mean ate ALL the food) I’m ready to detox and get back on track to feeling healthy and confident.

I barely worked out in December and I ate really shitty, too. While I enjoyed the break, it’s just not me and I miss my salads and double workouts at the gym.

I can’t believe how much blogging about my food and fitness actually effects my choices. During the last few months of not blogging, I’ve made poor decisions and skipped more and more workouts. I like the accountability and checking in and planning my weekly workouts – even if no one reads; I know I have a set plan!

I’m looking forward to getting back into it and while the reset posts won’t be the typical F2BF posts, I’m excited to share the journey and my progress with you all!

I have a present for you.

Starting January 5, I’m going to get back into blogging as much as I can!

I’m not going to go backward and fill you in on the last few months… Not much to say anyway. I’m going to start fresh, on a clean slate, and bring you lots of food, fitness, Beachbody, dating/lifestyle posts and much more!

You’re the ones motivating me to get back into blogging. I miss it and I have been slacking due to the lack of accountability and sharing with you my eats and exercises.

I’m planning to do the Ultimate Reset in January and will be posting updates and results over the 21 days! It can’t come soon enough!
